Privacy Policy
At AHLSTARZ we understand that privacy is of the upmost concern to us all. With the advent of computers, fax machines, the Internet and all manner of communication technology it becomes more and more difficult to keep your personal information from circulation and misuse.
We as tax and accounting professionals know better anyone that your information MUST remain confidential no matter what the cost. It is our policy to rigorously insure that your information is safe in our care, and in no way is compromised.
How We Do It
We operate on a closed computer network, using the latest in firewall and security software technology, and secure all records in our office at the end of every day. Client electronic documents or records that are deleted from our systems are done so using current Department of Defense guidelines for the destruction of electronic data. Client paper documents or records that are destroyed are done so using a privately contracted, licensed and bonded document destruction firm who perform their services on our premises, and under our supervision. Individual paper documents or records that are destroyed are done so using confetti-form shredding equipment, as recommended by the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C.
Our Promise To You
Your identification, tax and accounting records, employer and employee payroll information and even your email address will always remain confidential in our care. At no time WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION will your confidential information or identity ever leave our trusted hands, even if at some point you no longer wish to engage our services as a client.
This is a sacred promise from us to you, as a part of the excellent service we seek to provide all who seek our service and counsel.
